1. What are some special structures within a cell?

Answer:
different types of cells have different structures but I’m going to assume this is on animal cells. The cell has tons of special structures, but some simpler ones are; nucleus, cell membrane, ribosome, cytoplasm, mitochondrion. I’ll attach a diagram!

2. What is step three in the scientific process

Answer:
The scientific process is as follows
1. Observation
2. Question
**3. Hypothesis**
4. Experiment
5. Conclusion
6. Result

3. Do cells make up all living things? (Use CER for this question)

Answer:
Yes they do!

From my understanding CER is cite, explain reasoning. I don’t know if your teacher provided you with material to cite but you should probably use your class textbook or any other recent class reading. Here’s a graphic organizer for your written answer

Cite: [quote from the text with page number]

Explain: explain why cells make up all living things, using the quote as evidence.

Reasoning: explain how the text connects to your claim.

Step 3: State your hypothesis

The hypothesis is often written using the words "IF" and "THEN." For example, "If I do not study, then I will fail the test." The "if' and "then" statements reflect your independent and dependent variables. The hypothesis should relate back to your original question and must be testable.
