Answer:

  • pt = 41

Explanation:

Let, pt = tq

\hookrightarrow 4x + 9 = 6x - 7

Subtract 9 from both sides,

\hookrightarrow 4x + 9 -9 = 6x - 7 - 9

\hookrightarrow 4x = 6x - 16

Subtract 6x from both sides,

\hookrightarrow 4x - 6x = 6x - 16 - 6x

\hookrightarrow -2x = -16

Divide both sides by -2

\hookrightarrow x = 8

Now Plug the value of x in pt.

since pt = 4x + 9

\hookrightarrow pt = 4(8) + 9

\hookrightarrow pt = 32 + 9

\hookrightarrow pt = 41

Henceforth the value of pt is 41
