$x = - 1 \: and \: x = - 0.5$

Explanation:

$2x(x + 1.5) = - 1 \\ 2x { }^(2) + 3x + 1 = 0 \\ (x + 1)(2x + 1) = 0 \\ x = - 1 \: and \: x = - 0.5$
