Two angles are complementary. The measure of one angle is 15\deg less than six times the measure of the other angle. Find the measure of each angle.

Explanation:

Let angle 1 = x & angle 2 = y

x + y = 90 <=> x = 90 - y

[2]

x + 15 = 6y

90 - y + 15 = 6y

6y + y = 90 + 15

7y = 105

y = 15

x + y = 90

x + 15 = 90

x = 75
