Answer: positive: (-1, 3)

Explanation:

The student gives the correct values and uses the correct symbols for the negative notation, however, they make a slight mistake when writing the positives. When writing interval notation, we do not include 0 as a positive number.

This means that instead of writing "positive: [-1, 3]" we write "positive: (-1, 3)" to show that 0 is not included.
