A twelve year old boy wandered down the alleyway. His stomach growled as he had not eaten all day. He wondered where his mother was. Why he had been left all alone, and when he would eat again. That is when a sudden smell infected his nose. It was from the bakery, which had left the back door open. The boy was too morally weak to resist the smell. He slipped in through the open door and stole a loaf of bread like a common criminal. While the boy justified his actions as desperate and the only way to survive, the boy does not deserve the bread that he gobbled up. He deserves to be in prison.
