Set of rules meant to end human suffering
Explanation: Buddhism is 2,500 years old faith which was founded by Gautam Buddha or Siddhartha Gautam and today it is one of the important religions of the world. It preaches that enlightenment can be attained by walking the path of meditation, morality, and wisdom.
Buddha told four Noble Truths for ending or overcoming human suffering which are dukkha, samudaya, nirhodha, magga. This end of suffering could be attained by practicing the Eightfold Path which prescribes a set of ideals for mental disciple, attaining wisdom, and ethical conduct.
