Answer:

  • Angle 2 = Angle 4 (alternate angles)
  • Angle 1 = Angle 5 (corresponding angles)

2.

Angle 1 + Angle 2 + Angle 3 = 180 (angles on a line)

Now,

Angle 2 = Angle 4 (alternate angles)

and Angle 1 = Angle 5 (corresponding angles)

So,

Angle 1 + Angle 2 + Angle 3 = Angle 5 + Angle 4 + Angle 3 = 180

Hence proved
