The Nervous System has 2 main parts, namely
1. Central nervous system
2. Peripheral nervous system
Central Nervous System:
The brain and spinal cord make up the CNS(central nervous system). The brain uses the nerves to send messages to the rest of the body. Each of the nerves has a protective layer called myelin. Myelin insulates the nerve and helps the message get through.
Peripheral Nervous System:
The peripheral nervous system consists of many nerves that branch out from CNS all over the body. This system relays information from your brain and spinal cord to your organs, arms, legs, fingers, and toes.
