Explanation:

To find x, add (2x+8), (71-x), and 90˚ together to add up to 180˚ (those three angles are supplementary):

(2x+8) + (71-x) + 90 = 180˚

x + 169 = 180

Then solve for x:

x = 11

You can check if x is right by inputing it back into the two equations and see if all three of the angle measures together equal 180˚.

Now, you only need m∠MTS (2x+8) to find m∠STQ...

m∠MTS + m∠STQ = 180˚ because they are supplementary angles.

Input the found x to find m∠MTS:

(2(11)+8) = 30

Subtract 30 from 180 to find m∠STQ:

180 - 30 = 150

m∠STQ = 150˚
