Explanation:

First guess:

chance it is right: 2/5

chance it is wrong: 3/5

Second guess, if first is right:

chance it is right: 1/4

chance it is wrong: 3/4

therefore we multipy 2/5 and 3/4 and get a simplified answer of 3/10
