Answer:

Starvation grips with an iron hand,

The weak, the poor, the forgotten land,

Empty bellies, hollow eyes,

Innocent children’s painful cries.

Parched throats and sunken cheeks,

Hopelessness that never speaks,

Desperation in every breath,

A cruel fate that brings only death.

No food, no water, no respite,

An existence full of constant fight,

A world that can be so unfair,

Starvation is a cross that some must bear.

With closed lips and eyes full of fear
