Ok So I really really need help Its 2 Questions Combined I think...

1. The diagram below shows the results of Mendel's experiment crossing a yellow pea with a green pea. What can be determined from the results of the first generation?

A. The yellow pea is dominant to the green pea. Therefore the first generation of peas is green.
B. The green pea is dominant to yellow. Therefore the first generation of peas is green.
C. Bothe the green pea color and the yellow pea color are recessive.
D. Both the green pea and the yellow pea color are dominant.

2. Using the illustration above, explain why in the second generation of peas there is a yellow pea present even though all peas were green in the first generation.

Answer: 1) answer b 2)the yellow gene is recessive, so once to recessive genes meet they create a yellow pea. (Provided an example of a square where you have two recessive Pp plants mix) PP would be pure breed green and Pp would be green with a recessive yellow trait. pp would make a yellow plant.
