You can get median by ordering increasing or decreasing order and find the midium data if the no. of data is even then you will take the mean of the 2 data.

9 , 11 , 11 , 16 , 16 , 20

so no. of data is 6 which is even so take the mean(average) of 11 and 16 .

(11+6) / 2 = 8.5

So the median is 8.5

And the mean of the data is

Mean = (11 + 11 + 9 + 16 + 16 + 20)/2

Mean = 83/2 = 41.5

So the mean is 41.5
