(n+3)!/(n+1)! please help immediately

Answer:

  • (n + 3)(n + 2) or n² + 5n + 6

The factorial of a non-negative integer n, denoted by n!, is the product of all positive integers less than or equal to n:

  • n! = n × (n - 2) × (n - 3) × ... × 2 × 1

As per above mentioned definition we see that:

  • (n + 3)! = (n + 3) × (n + 2) × (n + 1)!

Hence the quotient of (n + 3)! and (n + 1)! is:

  • (n + 3)(n + 2) or n² + 5n + 6
