we can use the following formula:

P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A and B)

we can substitute into this formula:

P(A or B) = 0.2 + 0.3 - 0.1
P(A or B) = 0.4

Therefore, the probability of A or B is 0.4 or 40%.

we know that

P (A or B) = P(A) + P(B) -P (A and B)

putting values we get

P (A or B) = 0.2 + 0.3 - 0.1

P (A or B)= 0.4

hence the ans. = 0.4
