or,y=(13-2x)/3 ........eq(i)

or,y=4x+2 ..............eq(ii)

From eq(i) and (ii),

(13-2x)/3=4x+2

or,13-2x=12x+6

or,13-6=12x+2x

or,7=14x

or,x= 7/14

x=1/2

y=4×(1/2)+2

y=4
