Vision, mission, goal, and objective are all statements that describe what an individual or organization wants to achieve. They are similar in that they all provide direction and purpose, and they all help to guide decision-making.
However, there are some differences between them. A vision statement describes an ideal future state that an individual or organization wants to achieve. A mission statement outlines the purpose and values of an individual or organization. A goal is a specific target that an individual or organization wants to achieve. An objective is a specific action or task that an individual or organization needs to accomplish in order to achieve a goal.
