algebra

-

y = 5x + 4

y = 5(x + 1)

both of them are same, so we can say

y = y

5x + 4 ≠ 5x + 5

5x - 5x ≠ 5 - 4

0 ≠ 1

it means, the solutions is none.

Answer: A. None

Explanation:

The equations are parallel as they have the same slope, therefore there are no solutions.
