Certain foods that are incomplete proteins do not contain all of the necessary amino acids that would be helpful.

Incomplete protein foods are anywhere from seeds, nuts, and whole grains. Whole grains consist of whole wheat bread and brown rice. Not only that, but even types of beans, peas and lentils (which tend to be part of the legume family).

Typically, incomplete proteins are harder for the body to digest and brake down. But don't be fooled, not all complete proteins are easy to be broken down either.
