To find how many halves there are in a given number, we need to multiply the number by 2.

a) 7 1/2 = (7 x 2) + 1 = 15 halves

b) 10 1/2 = (10 x 2) + 1 = 21 halves

c) 23 = 23 x 2 = 46 halves

To find out how many times we can subtract 0.05 from 5, we can divide 5 by 0.05.

5 ÷ 0.05 = 100

So we can subtract 0.05 from 5, 100 times.

We can find the number of roses that are red, yellow, and pink by using the given percentages and fractions.

a) Yellow roses: 50% of 96 = 48 roses

b) Red roses: 1/4 of 96 = 24 roses

c) Pink roses: The remaining roses are pink, which can be found by subtracting the number of yellow and red roses from the total number of roses:

96 - 48 - 24 = 24 roses

Therefore, there are 24 red roses, 48 yellow roses, and 24 pink roses in the bed in the park.
