Answer: Someone who has made a difference in the world was Martha Graham. She was an American Dancer and a powerful communicator. Martha Graham was born on May 11th, 1894 and died on April 1st, 1991. Martha was the kind of woman who stood out by going against society. She was someone who would persevere in spite of overwhelming obstacles, she overcame her fears and helped others do it too. She used dance as a way to communicate her feelings and deeply connected with her audience. Martha believed that a dancer’s movement could not always be expressed by words but through movement. She wanted her dances to be felt rather than known. Martha took inspiration from the bad side of life and put it into her dances. Each of her dances had a special implication to her, because they expressed a fear she had overcome in her own life.
