During the Industrial Revolution, cities expanded, which significantly altered living conditions. Urban centre growth opened up new economic opportunities but also brought up serious problems with housing, sanitation, and public health. However, improvements in public infrastructure and housing technologies ultimately improved living conditions for city dwellers.
New agricultural methods, enclosure movements ,and the establishment of new machinery have contributed to improving agriculture ,significantly increasing food production .The nutritional and health of the population have increased due to increased food production and distribution by increasing agricultural productivity .As public water infrastructure develops and hygiene standards improve, people can now access safe drinking water.As a result,waterborne diseases and other diseases, which were previously the main causes of death, have declined significantly.Industrialized Environmental pollution has had a negative impact on local health and quality of life, but has resulted in the creation of environmental laws and the adoption of more environmentally friendly production technologies.
