Answer: Agriculture

Explanation: When the settlers from Britain makes a Jamestown settlement they start building villages and starts with agriculture, they only grow corn and wheat as a result for the people. They did logging the trees so they can turn them into an industry and wanted deforestation to make new room for the village to settle. Factories didn't exist at the time of the founding and factories started at the beginning Industrial Revolution. They did fishing when they are hunting for food for the colonists and the people as well. They were no mining either in Jamestown or outside until 1609 when colonial settlers began mining bog iron ore 66 miles from Jamestown.
