This is what I got

The law threatened the safety of all blacks, slave and free, and forced many Northerners to become more defiant in their support of fugitives.

As a result it was in cotton production that the
industrial revolution began, particularly in and
around Manchester. The cotton used was mostly
imported from slave plantations. Slavery provided
the raw material for industrial change and growth
How did northern textile companies implicate the
region with southern slavery? Their rapid growth
and demand for cotton filled the need for cotton
from the southern states. Even though the Northern
states got rid of slavery they still needed the cotton
and this caused the southern states to need more slaves.
