I multiplied 1700 5 times by 4%, then got 2,068.30993408 and rounded it to the ones place, which is 2,068

Answer:

2068

Explanation:

Let Initial Population be "P", Time be "T", Rate be "R" and final Population be "I"

Using Population growth formula

I = P [ 1 + R/100]^T

I = 1700 [ 1 + 4/100]^5

*Using calculator cause I am lazy"

I = 2068.3099

*Rounding up to nearest whole number*

I = 2068

[ Hope this helpz : ) ]
