Now, it says two towns are 5 inches apart. With the previous information, you can either multiply 5 inches by 5 miles per inch or think deeper.


Thinking deeper: If there is 4 inches, that is 20 miles. Adding another inch doesn’t add another ten. It adds half of ten and half of ten in 5. 20+5=25
