Zane - a young boy who is lost in the forest and stumbles upon Rina and the monster.
Xander - a wizard who joins Rina and Zane to help defeat the monster.
Conflict(s):

The conflict between Rina and the monster, which threatens to attack her and harm Zane.
The conflict between Rina and Xander, who initially clash due to their different approaches to fighting the monster.
The conflict between the characters and the monster's minions, who attack them during their journey.
Plot:

Zane gets lost in the forest and stumbles upon Rina fighting the monster. She saves him and takes him under her wing.
