Explanation:

If they are RIGHT triangles then the Pythagorean theorem would apply

c^2 = a^2 + b^2 where c is the long side ( hypotenuse)

4) does 10^2 = 6^2 + 8^2 ?

100 = 36 + 64 Yes....it is a right triangle

5) does 8^2 = ( sqrt26)^2 + sqrt(28^2) ?

64 = 26 + 28 NO....it is NOT a right triangle

6) you should try this one yourself .....
