As I ran through the crowded city streets, tears flying behind me, I began waving at a van. They took my daughter! I sprinted after them, but a man peered out the window and pointed a gun at me. I immediately jumped behind a light pole. *BOOM!* *CRASH!* A nearby shop's window shattered into a million pieces. I peered out, only to see the van disappear into the distance. Only if I had known what my daughter's cries meant earlier, I could've beaten the kidnapper to the core.
