Explanation:

$2 {x}^(2) + 9x + 6 = 0$

a = 2, b = 9, c = 6

$d = {b}^(2) - 4 * a * c = {9}^(2) - 4 * 2 * 6 = 81 - 48 = 33 > 0$

x1 = ( - b - √(d) )/(2a) = ( - 9 - √(33) )/(4)

x2 = ( - b + √(d) )/(2a) = ( - 9 + √(33) )/(4)
