Read the following excerpt from a student essay. How can the writer best improve his or her organization?

When working on group projects, shy students stay quiet, and the more outgoing ones end up doing all the work. Sometimes students don't get along with each other, so time is wasted because of arguments or disagreements. In addition, the quality of the work suffers when too many viewpoints or styles are thrown together. I think group projects are a terrible idea for several reasons.

Answer:The writer can improve the organization of the essay by providing a clear introduction that introduces the topic and states the main point of the essay. The writer can also organize the essay into separate paragraphs, each addressing a specific reason why they believe group projects are a terrible idea. For example, one paragraph could address the issue of shy students staying quiet and outgoing students doing all the work, another paragraph could address the issue of students not getting along and wasting time with arguments, and a third paragraph could address the issue of too many viewpoints or styles affecting the quality of the work. Additionally, the writer can provide specific examples or evidence to support each reason they give for why group projects are a bad idea.
