Journal:
Day 1:
My name is Ralph and I find myself stranded on a deserted island with a group of boys. We were all in a plane that crashed and now we are the only survivors. I'm not sure what to do, but I think we need to get organized and work together to survive. I've been elected leader, but it's a huge responsibility.
Day 5:
We've been trying to build shelters and find food, but it's not easy. Some of the boys are not interested in doing any work and just want to play around all day. There's also a group of boys who seem to be more interested in hunting than helping with other tasks. I'm trying to keep everyone focused, but it's not easy.
Day 10:
Things are starting to fall apart. The boys are getting restless and starting to argue with each other. Jack, one of the boys who is more interested in hunting, is starting to become aggressive towards me. He wants to be in charge and thinks that I'm not doing a good job as leader. I'm not sure what to do.
Day 15:
We've seen a beast on the island, and the boys are starting to get scared. They want me to do something about it, but I don't know what to do. Jack is becoming more and more aggressive, and I'm worried that he's going to try to take control. I need to come up with a plan to keep everyone safe.
Day 20:
Things have gotten out of control. Jack has formed his own group, and they are hunting and killing pigs. They have also stolen the glasses we were using to start fires. I'm not sure what to do, but I know that I need to take action before things get worse.
Day 25:
We had a meeting, and I suggested that we build a signal fire on the beach so that a passing ship could see us. Jack and his group didn't like the idea, but I managed to convince most of the boys to help. Unfortunately, during the night, the fire went out, and we missed our chance to be rescued.
Day 30:
Simon, one of the boys, was killed by Jack and his group. It was a terrible accident, and I'm not sure how we're going to move forward. We need to get rescued soon before things get any worse.
Day 35:
Jack and his group have stolen Piggy's glasses and killed him. I'm the only one left now, and I'm not sure how much longer I can survive on this island. I'm writing this blog as a record of what happened, in case someone finds it one day. I hope that I will be rescued soon and that justice will be served for my friends.
The Lord of the Flies is a haunting tale of survival and the dark side of human nature. It's a story about how quickly things can fall apart when there is no authority, and how easy it is for people to turn on each other. I hope that this blog will serve as a warning to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation. Always remember to work together, and never let fear and aggression take over.
