1. What stops students from making healthy dietary choices at the school?

2. Write a letter to the school that lists the specific changes you recommend making to the cafeteria menu. Explain the importance of these changes.

3. Do some research to determine if there are any schools in your community or elsewhere that meet dietary guidelines for fresh fruits and vegetables, dietary fiber, and lean protein sources? What about students with special dietary needs (such as offering vegetarian, gluten-free, kosher, or halal foods)?

Answer: The main thing that stops kids from making healthy choices at school is the school mainly offers not so healthy choices making kids eat not healthy food.

I wish schools would have healthier options because kids need to eat healthy they can’t eat junk food all the time.

Dedham Public meets these requirements. They offer fresh fruits and vegetables daily. With different options (main meal, salad and sandwich) there is a high probability that everyone will find something they like!

Step-by-step explanation:

what stops students is the fact that the school provides chips and other nasty food that most kids enjoy, another reason is the fact that the school does/won't spend more money on food,
