Counterclaim:

This counterclaim is one I have come up with myself, so it is 100% original!

I disagree with the claim "people should not be punished for what they post on social media" made by _______. I disagree with this claim because not everything people post on social media is appropriate, for instance many people on social media like to post nudity, profanity, and fasle or malicious content. Not only, are these types of posts not appropriate they are slanderous, and often dangerous.

The people who make the posts are not thinking about the affect it has on others. Especially the effect it has on these young 12–13-year-olds who are now allowed to have social media!

You can add to or completely disregard my answer because it may not be helpful at all.

Answer:

People should get the consequences for what they post on social media. Although it might seem a bit over the top for a consequence for what they post on social media people post stuff that deals with harming themselves or others even trespassing and also breaking the law.
