The abominable snow monster that terrorizes Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is commonly referred to as the "Bumble." The Bumble is a large, yeti-like creature who is feared by all of the other characters in the story. Despite his fearsome reputation, the Bumble is ultimately portrayed as a misunderstood and lonely creature, who is eventually won over by Rudolph's kindness and bravery.
