We can picture that there is a straight line (see attached picture).

Since a straight line = 180 degrees, the two angles add up to 180 degrees.

One angle is already 77, so we can subtract 77 from 180, to get the other angle.

Now that we know the other angle=103 degrees, we can imagine another straight line (see 2nd attached image)

Again, since a straight line = 180 degrees, we can subtract the other two angles to find the value of p.

p=29 degrees.

I got the 103 degrees by subtracting 77 from 180.

The answer is 29.

Explanation:

a straight line is 180 degrees, to subtract 77 from 180 to figure out the red angle. Which is 103 degrees as shown also in red. Now we add 103 and 48 which is 151 degrees. And since all straight lines are 180 degrees, that means that angle p has to be 29. If you add 29 to 151, then you get 180 degrees.
