Complementary angles are two angles whose measures have a sum of 90 degrees. Angles x and y are complementary. The measure of angle x is 24 degrees greater than the measure of angle y. Determine the measures of angles x and y.

Using the equation (x+24)+x=90 you figure out the X = 33 so y equals 33 and x equals 57
