The domain of the inequality graph as an inequality statement: is

-1 < x ≤ 8

What is domain in graph?

The domain refers to the set of all possible input values (x-values values) for which the function or relation is defined.

It represents the range of x-values for which the corresponding y-values are determined.

Investigating the x-values, the open circle (as in -1) means the inequality does not have equality sign that is a strict inequality. While the closed circle as seen in eight (8) means the inequality is non-strict (it has equality sign attached to it)

This helped us in getting the statement as -1 < x ≤ 8
