Point 1 = p1= (0 , -4)

Point 2 = p2 = (2 , 2 )

slope = m

m = (2-(-4)) / (2-0)

note that this question is aimed at messing you up by putting in the extra negative. so it's always important to use the brackets, like i've done, to keep that correct

m = (2+4) / 2

m = 6/2

m = 3

slope is 3
