Explanation:

square has 4 sides

one side = 60÷4 = 15

Use pythogoras theorem to find the hypotenuse thus the diagonal of the square.

x = √(15² + 15²)

x = √(225 + 225)

x = √450

x = 21.21 (2 dp)
