Answer:

write the given equation in a standard form of y = mx + c

7x + 2y = 0

2y = -7x

y = -7/2x

parallel lines have equal gradient

m = -7/2

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 2 = -7/2(x - (-7) )

y - 2 = -7/2( x + 7 )

y - 2 = -7/2x - 49/2

y = -7/2x - 49/2 + 2

y = -7/2 - 45/2
