The volume of a cylinder with a cylindrical hole in the middle is just the volume of the bigger one minus the volume of the smaller one. The equation for volume of a cylinder is (pi)(r^2)(h)=A so the larger cylinder is 5488pi cm^3, and the smaller one is 567pi cm^3. So subtracting these values gives you 4921 cm^3

Hope this helps
