The table is completed below

x y = 9 - x² (x, y)

-3 y = 9 - (-3)² = 0 (-3, 0)

-2 y = 9 - (-2)² = 5 (-2, 5)

-1 y = 9 - (-1)² = 8 (-1, 8)

0 y = 9 - (0)² = 9 (0, 9)

1 y = 9 - (1)² = 8 (1, 8)

2 y = 9 - (2)² = 5 (2, 5)

3 y = 9 - (3)² = 0 (3, 0)

The maximum height above the ground is 9

How to complete the table

The table is completed by substitution of the values

According to the problem we have the equation: y = 9 - x²

We complete the table as follows

For x = -3, y = 9 - (-3)² = 0

For x = -2, y = 9 - (-2)² = 5

For x = -1, y = 9 - (-1)² = 8

For x = 0, y = 9 - (0)² = 9

For x = 1, y = 9 - (1)² = 8

For x = 2, y = 9 - (2)² = 5

For x = 3, y = 9 - (3)² = 0

The maximum height above the ground, from the graph is 9
