The inequality representing the maximum storage is 5x + 3y <=150

How to graph inequality function

Let x represent weight of a flour bag

5 bags weigh = 5*x = 5x

Let y represents weight of a sugar

3 bag of sugar = 3y

maximum storage capacity 150

5x + 3y <= 150

The inequality representing the maximum storage is 5x + 3y <=150

Now, we can create a graph of this inequality on a coordinate plane by the following pair of points

Table of values

x y

0 50

10 30

20 10

30 -10

40 -30

Plot these points on the coordinate plane.

Draw the boundary line 5x + 3y = 150

The area below the line is shade which represents the feasible region of the equation.
