The scale factor of the image shown is 0.23

How to get the scale factor

Scale factors are used to increase or decrease image. The situation of increment is usually called magnifying.

Taking a point of reference say 74 and 17

solving for the factor, assuming the factor is k

preimage dimension * k = scaled copy

74 * k = 17

k = 17 / 74

k = 0.2297

k = 0.23
