Answer: No its not normal

Step-by-step explanation: The question says 60 and 100 beats per minute is normal. Rushing looks at his watch and counts 8 beats in 10 seconds

We can solve by:

(8)/(10) =
(x)/(60) then from that answer we can check if x, the heartbeats falls between 60 and 100.

So to get 60, we have to multiply 10 by 6. We are using proportionality, so we do the same to the numerator to get 8 x 6= 48

We get
(8)/(10) =
(48)/(60). 48 beats do not fall between 60 and 100, thus the answer is it is not normal.
