What is the slope of a line perpendicular to the line whose equation is x + y = -6.

Answer:

-1 or -1/1

Explanation:

Looked it up, found an answer that said

"X+Y = 6

change into slope intercept form y=mx+b

y= -x +6

the number infront of X is the slope...so....-1/1 would be your slope

Parallel lines have the same slope, so the answer is -1 or -1/1"
