Answer: The coordinate of C is (2, 1.8)

Let the coordinates of A and C be (2, 1) and (2, 4). If the line AC is divided into the ratio of 2:3. This coordinate of C is given as:

Get the coordinate of X;

X = ax1+bx2/a+b

X = 2(2)+3(2)/2+3

X = (4+6)/5

X = 10/5

X = 2

Get the coordinate of Y:

Y = ay1+by2/a+b

Y = 2(1)+3(4)/2+3

Y = (2+12)/5

Y = 14/5

Y = 1.8

Hence the coordinate of C is (2, 1.8)
