Honestly if someone wanted to support teen mental, emotional, and social health it'd be best to be open minded to what they are going through, never say "I get what you are going through" it can be a trigger, don't force them to be social because that force can make things worse, help them/let them do outlets to be social, give them lots of love, be there to talk, know that it isn't going to be easy, and overall repeatedly let them know you'll always be there for them no matter what because if they have even a hint of trust issues (especially if that person doesn't realize it) things are gonna be even harder.
